CENTRAL POST OFFICE
Central Post Office is situated next to Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city’s cathedral, in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Based on Villedieu’s design—a well-known French architect—it was built between 1886 and 1891 and is today regarded as one of Ho Chi Minh City’s valuable symbols.
The post office’s magnificent colonial architecture and lavish decorations serve as the setting for marital photograph sessions, educational trips, and sightseeing tours. Furthermore, it is a lovely reminder of Vietnam’s complex history. If you wish to send a postcard home or solely enjoy the architecture of previous centuries, this is the best destination to visit.
Opening hours: 07:30 – 17:00
